Media Studies Graduates

Graduates from the Media Studies program received an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies and a Diploma in Media Communications.

Renee Weekes

• Graduated: 2006
• Current Employment: Managing Director & Founder, Strata Public Relations
• The overall experience I had at the University of Guelph-Humber was extremely positive. The intimate design of the classes allowed for great interaction with faculty and the ability to develop long lasting relationships with fellow students. The theoretical education I gained from my university courses, and the practical knowledge I received from my college training, far exceeds the offerings of any other post secondary program.

Cynthia Innes

• Graduated: 2006
• Current Employment: Account Executive, Edelman Public Relations
• The University of Guelph-Humber equipped me with a diverse set of communications skills that have allowed me to explore a number of different roles since graduation. From financial reporting to non-profit communications to public relations, the University of Guelph-Humber prepared me to pursue my passions – from Toronto to Africa and back again.

Daniella Cross-Henderson

• Graduated: 2007
• Current Employment: Marketing Manager, Research in Motion
• I truly enjoyed the projects my classmates and I worked on together, most notably the Shaun Bruce Toronto Mayoral Campaign and a fundraiser for Sick Kids Hospital that raised over $30,000! These experiences really taught me that when people collaborate together and believe in what they are doing, any goal is possible.
