Student Governance

Guelph-Humber Student Association (GHSA)

The University of Guelph-Humber Student Association is the representative body of Guelph-Humber students. Its goals are:

• To foster a sense of community among University of Guelph-Humber students
• To raise, discuss, and act upon issues of concern to students
• To create and/or take part in academic or social events that facilitate learning and promote the betterment of student life
• To represent University of Guelph-Humber undergraduates to the University administration and surrounding community

The Association consists of a central executive, program representatives, and co-ordinating sub-committees. Consider running for a position or joining a sub-committee. The benefits of getting involved with the Student Association are incredible, and include meeting new people and enhancing your leadership skills. Stay tuned for information regarding upcoming events.

Humber Students’ Federation (HSF)

Full-time students of the University of Guelph-Humber pay fees to and are also represented by the Humber Students' Federation (HSF). The HSF is the campus-wide student government. It provides services and activities to enhance the quality of your university experience such health and dental plan, legal advice and student clubs that include the Humber Dance Squad, the Humber Environmental Action Team, the International Students' Association, and the Outdoor Adventure Club.

Student Governance
GHSA events include GHSA Spirit Week, Annual Formal, Guelph Homecoming trip and the Year-End Bash.  Visit their office in GH 119, call them at 416-675-8520 or email at info@ghsaweb.com to get involved or to find out about events!

Barbecues, live concerts, celebrity speakers, comedy nights and off-campus excursions are just some of the events that the HSF have planned for you this year. The HSF also provides extensive volunteer and work opportunities and will be looking for University of Guelph-Humber students to play an active role in the community.
