PSYCHOLOGY
CURRICULUM
You will learn the relationship between emotions, intelligence and human development while studying electives that challenge you to apply your understanding of human psychology. In your addition to your studies and research in the areas of social and individual psychology, you will also participate in exercises that uncover patterns and disparities in human response and reactions - work that will prepare you for various fields such as sales, advertising, personnel management, psychological testing, vocational guidance, teaching, social service and research.
The curriculum focuses on various areas of psychology, including behavioural, cognitive and social psychology. Students will explore the individual thought process as it relates to human development, mental disorders and various external factors present in today's world. Over your four years of study in the program you will complete courses required for graduate studies, including research methods and statistics. You will also complete a number of psychology courses that cover a wide range of topics including persuasion, critical thinking and addiction.
