Psychology Students Represent Guelph-Humber in Halifax
Program Head Dr. David Danto met with psychology students Molly Benoit-Leach, Nasima Mehraban, Zipora Richman, and Alex Stirpe at the 73rd Annual Canadian Psychological Association Convention. According to Stirpe, the group of students, entering their fourth year, made the trip to Nova Scotia “to learn about current research … so that when we submit our research next year we will know what to expect.”

The students were glad to attend and support current Guelph-Humber student researchers; Lindsay Barendregt, Maya Ricker-Wilson, Lindsay Terrence, and Charlotte Tonge coauthored a study with Meaghan Edwards from Muki Baum Treatment Centres and Dr. Venera Bruto which investigates Potential Adaptive Outcomes of Off-Task Behaviours in a Special Education Classroom.
We look forward to seeing our students at the 74th Annual CPA convention which will be held in Quebec City in 2013.
