Official Transcripts

A transcript is an official document prepared by the Office of Registrarial Services recording a student’s courses, grades, credits transferred and degree’s awarded. Official transcripts are printed on security paper with the University of Guelph Humber seal and signature of the Registrar.

Official Transcript Requests

will be processed when a student is:

  • making an application to transfer to another post-secondary institution
  • applying for a graduate program, teachers college, law school, etc.
  • applying for an external scholarship that specifically requires an official transcript (documentation must be provided in these cases)

University of Guelph Humber transcript fees will cover all scenarios indicated above. Students requesting official transcripts to be mailed to home addresses or for student pick-up can only be processed for the requests outlined above.

Students requiring an official transcript for these purposes should complete the request form via the link below and provide the full mailing address to the institution(s)/organization(s). These requests will be mailed directly to the destination institution(s)/organization(s).

Students who require a copy for personal use (e.g. insurance/employment purposes) and reasons other than those described above will need to pay a $10 processing fee (per copy) made payable to The University of Guelph Humber by cheque only.

Unofficial Transcript Requests

Any Request for Official Transcript made for 'personal' use (without specific and official documentation showing the necessity for an official transcript) will be directed to access their Unofficial Transcript which is available to them through Web Advisor or re-directed to another more appropriate form, such as the ‘Confirmation of Enrolment’ request form.
