Services

We encourage you to use these services for all your IT needs at the University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH). We continually assess the IT needs of the UofGH community and improve our services based on the changing needs of the university. We carefully select, maintain and improve our IT services to offer you only the best, relevant and current technologies for your learning, teaching or work objectives.

Student learning spaces

There’s a learning space for everyone on campus – from computer labs to labs for students with disabilities to quiet study areas. Our classrooms, labs and practice presentation rooms give you the space to work together or alone. Choose the best learning environment for your individual academic needs.

Network data storage

Safely store your work on our secure network and skip the hassle of USB thumb drives or large email attachments.

Printing on campus

Print whatever you need right here on campus. Our web-based printing service for students is easy to use and convenient – students can even send documents to the on-campus printer from home. For staff and faculty, we have multifunction printers and copiers in secure printing rooms on each floor.

Connect to our wireless network

It’s easy to stay connected on campus. You can access our wireless Internet throughout the entire UofGH building. We support WiFi-enabled phones, tablets and laptops.

Using your Gryph Mail account

Our email and calendar system lets you stay up to date and connected with the UofGH community. Use your Gryph Mail account to coordinate and communicate with students, faculty and university staff.

Software and hardware

Our computer labs offer a wide range of software applications and computing options.

Accounts and access

You’ll need your Humber College and University of Guelph login credentials (usernames and passwords) to access the computing resources on campus.

Media technologies support

Media Studies students have special access to the services of our Media Technologies team. Our Media Technologies team provides support, consultation and training for students in the Media Studies program. The team also researches, develops and delivers technology and media support for new media initiatives at the university.
