Creating Holiday Greeting Cards with Photoshop (Faculty and Staff Event)

In this introductory session you will have a bit of fun while learning a creative new skill.  Learn the basics of photoshop while creating a holiday greeting card! During this interactive session you will walk through how to create a blank file in photoshop setting it to the correct dimensions and quality for either print or digital distribution. You will then go through the step by step process of adding an image, text, and graphics. The end result will be a self-made card with a professional feel.   

This session is designed for those that little to no previously existing knowledge Adobe design software. Staff and faculty have free access to the Adobe cloud via https://its.humber.ca/services/services-students/academic-application-streaming-service 

Please ensure you have access prior to attending the session. You should also have an image you would like to use and/or graphics to add to your card. For graphics you can browse the following sites:
