FYE Workshop: Library Research Skills

Details: In collaboration with the Research Support Peers and Library Services, students will learn how to search more strategically for relevant resources needed for their assignments.
About FYE Workshops
Every two weeks during the Winter semester, workshops are held for first-year students to help with the transition to university as part of the First Year Experience (FYE) program. All workshops are hosted by professional staff or student leaders, with assistance from the FYE Leaders. Pizza is provided for all registered students.
Most workshops are held in GH 302 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., unless otherwise stated. You must register for each workshop individually. The Winter 2018 schedule is as follows:
- January 16: Co-Curricular Record (in GH 303 at 1:30 p.m.)
- January 30: Financial Literacy
- February 13: Job Search & Resume Critique
- February 27: Topic TBD
- March 13: Library Research Skills (in GH 202)
- March 27: Test Prep
