Indigenous Mental Health & Life Transitions Workshop

Dr. Suzanne Stewart, Canada Research Chair in Aboriginal Homelessness & Life Transitions, will speak on the history of colonization of Indigenous communities within Canada and provide context for the movement of decolonization and reconciliation brought forward by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The effects of colonization on Indigenous mental health and creating a bridge into the employment future for Indigenous students will also be discussed.
