Dr. Mark Federman has been teaching at the University of Guelph-Humber since winter 2018. In his private executive, leadership, and career coaching practice, and in his teaching, he creates conducive environments for an alternate future to become possible for students and clients alike. In doing so, he challenges students to think differently and co-create their own education experiences, and strives for students to exceed their prior self-expectations. As one student put it, “you really allowed me to showcase abilities I didn't really even know I had.” He has taught in Master’s programs in Sweden and Germany as well as in Canada, and some of his course materials are used worldwide. In addition to (hopefully once again) teaching and supervising at University of Guelph-Humber, and creating corporate learning interventions in Leadership, Appreciative Management, and Decision-Making in Complexity, in 2019 he will be a member of the inaugural faculty of a new master’s program at Schulich School of Business. He also teaches salsa dancing.
