Deadline to Accept
Deadline for all Canadian applicants attending postsecondary for the first time: June 1, 2020.
Deadline for international applicants: Printed in your offer letter.
You must respond by the deadline or your offer will expire. This is especially important if you have been admitted to one of our more competitive programs as space is limited. If your offer expires and you want to accept the offer, please contact us immediately.
Applied to multiple programs at UofGH?
If you have applied to more than one program at the University of Guelph-Humber, you may receive more than one offer of admission! Keep an eye on your mailbox and your OUAC account for offers as we continue to assess your applications. An offer of admission may be sent at any time before mid-May 2020. Visit the link below for more details about offers for applicants to multiple programs.
Apply to Residence
Now that you’ve received an offer of admission, you can apply to residence. This is a two-step process so ensure you allow yourself enough time to complete each step. Residence accepts students on a first come, first served basis; so apply as soon as you can. As of February 3, 2020, you can submit your application. The application deadline is June 1, 2020.
Aim for that Scholarship
Receiving an entrance scholarship means money directly paid toward your tuition. As an applicant to UofGH, you are automatically considered for the Renewable Entrance Scholarship or International Student Entrance Scholarship.
Your scholarship is based on your final admission average, so keep working hard to get the highest scholarship for you! Check out all of our entrance scholarships, awards and bursaries.
Get to know us even better by visiting campus. Come to an event to learn more about your program. Take a campus tour. Get a feel for our community and if it’s the right fit for you!
Watch for More Mail!
Once you accept your offer, we will keep you informed by mail and email about your next steps. Look for your welcome package in the spring.
Accessible Learning Services
Accessible Learning Services facilitates equal access for students with disabilities. They offer a range of support including academic accommodations, assistive technology training and referral to on-campus and community services.
Now that you have an offer of admission, we encourage you to arrange an appointment with an Accessibility Consultant. Once registered with ALS, a Consultant will work with you to determine accommodations to best suit your needs and program.
Get Ready for Class
Once you accept your offer, we know you’ll be excited about getting ready for September. Course selection happens in the summer! Our online New Student pages will set you up for success.
