Art shows children's struggles during pandemic, says Early Childhood Expert

In an article for CTV News, UofGH’s Early Childhood Studies Program Head Dr. Nikki Martyn discussed the emotional and mental toll that growing up during a pandemic has taken on young Canadians. Dr. Martyn’s team analyzed over 120 art submissions from youth aged two to 18, and noted that many contained graphic depictions of adolescent anxiety, isolation and despair. Read the full article here.
