Kinesiology Research on Grey Matter Atrophy Featured in MarketWatch Article

An opinion piece in MarketWatch featured research about the effects of meditation on grey matter atrophy published by Kinesiology Program Head Dr. Leslie Auger along with alumna Nicole Last and former UofGH librarian Emily Tufts. Regular meditators showed positive physical changes—mainly an increase in gray matter—in multiple areas of the brain, which may help prevent diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.
