Kick Start

Kick Start is a one-day program designed to help with the transition from secondary to post-secondary education. It gives new students the opportunity to get information, form friendships and explore the campus.

Through information sessions, speakers and activities, you'll get answers to your questions and meet current students and staff. We hope to see you there – there's no program like it!

Registration will open in mid-June. Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to register early.

Kick Start for Families

While incoming students attend Kick Start, family members can learn more about university life at Kick Start for Families. This program, held in conjunction with Kick Start, offers insight into the academic, financial and personal support systems available to students at the University of Guelph-Humber.

Through various information sessions, family members can get answers to their questions and become better equipped to offer support to their students as they progress through first year and beyond.
