Harry Potter Virtual Escape Room from ACTS

Monday, January 11 at 9:00 am – Friday, January 29 at 5:00 pm

You can play with up to 4 players. Test your knowledge of IT, AV, Media Cage, and Ed Tech at University of Guelph-Humber. The fastest team to complete the escape room will win a $25 Amazon e-gift card for each player. All teams who complete the escape room within the time limit will be entered in for random draw for $25 e-gift card for each player.   

Please note, you do not need extensive knowledge of Harry Potter to play, but it is much more fun if you do! Meet with your friends on Teams, Zoom, or whatever platform you want. Only one person needs to fill it out on behalf of the team but ideally your whole team can see your screen to answer the questions.

It's important to keep a healthy mindset all throughout the year, so why not start now? On January 18, the @UofGHstudents Instagram account will post a Self-Care bingo card so you can check in with yourself. This card will be available throughout the week in the highlights. To enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card, take a screenshot, then add it to your story. Check off the bingo card, tag @UofGHstudents and two friends to encourage them to do some self-care, too! GHCA Networking 101

Networking is overwhelming and often, the advice we get is regarding the macros of networking. In this event, we want to avoid this type of advice and want our attendees to be better equipped with a more customized toolkit that helps them with the micros of networking in the consulting industry. One of the primary components of the event is that attendees will get access to and learn how to use a simple spreadsheet CRM - which will help them stay organized while networking.
