A new way to get involved at UofGH

With the many societies, clubs, and sports teams at UofGH, there are plenty of ways to get involved on campus. Looking for more ways to get involved? You can now sign up as a participant for a student-led research project.

Psychology and Kinesiology students have been hard at work developing their thesis projects throughout the school year. They are excited to now invite all UofGH students to participate in their research studies.

UofGH students can browse through all current thesis projects by visiting this page and logging in with their Gryph Mail credentials.

Why should I get involved?

Participating in a student research study can be an exciting way to enrich your UofGH experience.

  • Experiential learning: As a research participant, you will get a unique hands-on learning experience. You can contribute to new research while also helping your UofGH peers.

  • Get inspired: Will you be completing a thesis project in your fourth year? Get a firsthand look at what other students are doing to spark some ideas for your own project. Not sure whether you want to do a thesis project? This is a great opportunity to see if completing a thesis project is right for you.

  • Low commitment: Most research studies require only a one-time commitment of one hour or less.

What kind of projects can I sign up for?

Psychology research projects are exploring topics such as the influence of stress on academic performance, how students learn, resilience and burnout, and study habits for final exams.

Kinesiology students are researching topics including whether pandemic-related stress is related to memory and the relationship between cannabis use and performance.
