University of Guelph-Humber

The sixth annual Science Rendezvous was held at Guelph-Humber on May 13th with more than 300 community members in attendance to learn about science in an engaging way.

Visitors were able to test how high they could perform a vertical jump, discover the various wildlife in the Humber Arboretum, work with a 3D printer, figure out a crime scene and see if they could identify someone in a visual lineup.

The Guelph-Humber campus was transformed into a live science lab with visitors able to watch a presentation in a 27-foot planetarium or learn about the human body. The event was designed to create pathways both into the university and into the Etobicoke community.

Science Rendezvous will take place next year on May 11, 2024.
