Canadian High School Applicants
(currently enrolled and graduates)
Renewable Entrance Scholarship
Up to $17,000 (over 4 years) per recipient
- First-year award ranges from $1,000 to $5,000
- Starts at 75% final admission average
- Renewal award of $1,000 to $4,000 for 3 years
- You will automatically be considered
Fantastic News! If you received an Offer of Admission, the Renewable Entrance Scholarship estimate in your Offer of Admission is now GUARANTEED when you meet the conditions of your Offer to the University of Guelph-Humber.
It can only GO UP not down! Your marks will be re-assessed in July when we receive your final grades. At that point, your scholarship amount may increase based on your final grades. If you didn't receive a scholarship estimate in your Offer of Admission, you might still in July. *Note: the amounts are different for second, third, and fourth years.
Founders' Academic Merit Scholarship
$36,000 ($9,000 x 4) per recipient
- 10 available each year
- Minimum 90% admission average
- Must demonstrate superior leadership skills
- Cannot be combined with the Vice-Provost Entrance Scholarship or Renewable Entrance Scholarship
- Apply by January 25, 2025
Vice-Provost Entrance Scholarship
$20,000 ($5,000 x 4) per recipient
- One per full-time program
- Awarded to one student with the highest final admission average for their respective program
- Cannot be combined with the Founders' Academic Merit Scholarship or Renewable Entrance Scholarship
- Applicants are automatically considered
Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Entrance Award
$1,000 per recipient
- Must have completed an applicable SHSM
- Minimum final admission average of 80%
- Automatically considered (your guidance counsellor must confirm your SHSM has been completed when uploading your admission grade data to the OUAC)
Registrar's Need-Based Entrance Bursary
$2,000 per recipient
- Assists students who demonstrate financial need
- Cannot be combined with the Diversity Entrance Bursary
- Apply by April 15, 2025
Diversity Entrance Bursary
$2,000 per recipient
- Assists students who demonstrate financial need
- Available to applicants who are Black, Indigenous or racialized students
- Cannot be combined with the Registrar's Need-Based Entrance Bursary
- Apply by April 15, 2025
Canadian Transfer Applicants
Transfer Student Entrance Scholarship
Up to $5,000 per recipient
- Must be transferring into a full-time program at U of GH
- Award ranges from $2,000 to $5,000
- Starts at 75% final admission average
- You will automatically be considered
- Non-renewable
Entrance Scholarship for Part-time Programs
Up to $2,000 per recipient
- Must be entering a part-time transfer program at U of GH
- Award ranges from $1,000 to $2,000
- Starts at 75% final admission average
- You will automatically be considered
- Non-renewable
Diversity Entrance Bursary
$2,000 per recipient
- Must be entering a full-time program at U of GH
- Assists students who demonstrate financial need
- Available to applicants who are Black, Indigenous or racialized students
- Apply by April 15, 2025
International Applicants
International Student Entrance Scholarship
Up to $20,500 CAD (over 4 years) per recipient
- Must be entering postsecondary studies for the first time
- First-year award ranges from $4,500 to $8,500 CAD
- Starts at 75% final admission average
- Renewable amount of $4,000 CAD for 3 years
- You will automatically be considered
International Academic Achievement Entrance Scholarship
$2,000 CAD per recipient
- Must be entering postsecondary studies for the first time
- Successful completion of the IB diploma program or GCSE A-level credential
- Cannot be held with the University of Guelph-Humber Study in Canada Scholarship
- You will automatically be considered
University of Guelph-Humber Study in Canada Scholarship
$1,000 CAD per recipient
- Must be entering postsecondary studies for the first time
- Minimum of a 75% admission average
- Cannot be held with the International Academic Achievement Entrance Scholarship
- You will automatically be considered
Transfer Student Entrance Scholarship
Up to $5,000 CAD per recipient
- Must be transferring into a full-time program at U of GH
- Award ranges from $2,000 to $5,000 CAD
