Convocation ceremonies at the University of Guelph-Humber are held in June. This is when degrees and diplomas are conferred to students who successfully complete programs as prescribed by the university. It’s a wonderful time of celebration for students and their family and friends.

Convocation 2021

The University of Guelph-Humber continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and your well-being and the safety of students, families and our campus community remains our top priority. After careful consideration, the University has made the difficult decision to postpone in-person Spring 2021 convocation ceremonies until it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, we are working to create a memorable virtual convocation celebration to honour our newest graduates. This celebration will allow us to mark the accomplishments of both our Fall 2020 and our Spring 2021 graduates. To mark your convocation, you will receive a package with your degree and diploma parchments, mortarboard and other keepsake/commemorative items closer to the virtual celebration.

Our Spring 2021 virtual convocation celebration has been set for Tuesday, June 29, 2021. A link to Ceremonies will be shared with all graduates to view Spring 2021 virtual convocation celebrations, closer to the date along with additional graduation details. Please email if you have questions
