Convocation ceremonies at the University of Guelph-Humber are held in June. This is when degrees and diplomas are conferred to students who successfully complete programs as prescribed by the university. It’s a wonderful time of celebration for students and their family and friends.

Convocation 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and need for physical distancing, we will be hosting a recorded virtual convocation ceremony to recognize graduates and their achievements. This is in lieu of the in-person ceremony scheduled for October 31, 2020.

The virtual ceremony will be available at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 and we invite you and your loved ones to join us to celebrate. For those that cannot participate at that time, the ceremony will be available on our website to celebrate at your convenience. Details will be provided to you in the coming weeks.

By now, most of you will have received your degree and diploma parchments, cap, and a keepsake box. We hope you were excited to receive these in the lead up to the fall convocation virtual event. We look forward to celebrating with you again on October 28!
