Policies

If you want to advertise events or book space on campus, be sure to read these policies first. You should also familiarize yourself with the Code of Student Conduct, which applies to all University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College students.

Get involved!

Enrich your experience as a University of Guelph-Humber student and join a society, club or sport. Societies are related to academic programs at UofGH, while clubs are general interest groups open to all UofGH and Humber College students. You can also get involved with intramural, extramural, and varsity sports. Search for experiences on campus, participate, and have them officially recognized on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR).

Health & well-being

We have a number of services on campus to help you maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Services are offered either through the University of Guelph-Humber or Humber College. Take advantage of classes and equipment at the Athletics Facility, or visit the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre for health and counselling services.

Living on & off campus

You can live in on-campus residence or find nearby accommodations – it’s up to you. Whether you live in Humber residence or nearby, you still have some great perks as a student: rent a locker on campus, buy a parking pass, find a carpool buddy, or get a discount on public transit passes.

New student transition

Make a successful transition to university life! Get involved with your First Year Experience Facebook group to make new friends in your program and learn about the University. Check your GryphMail account for your personal invitation in June from your FYE Leader. Current students will also help answer your questions at our summer events: Kick Start and Orientation.

Student government

As a University of Guelph-Humber student, you are able to apply for executive and program representative positions on IGNITE; the campus student government. You can also apply to be on the University of Guelph’s Senate.

Student services

Whether you’re looking for a job on campus or help with writing an essay or studying for your math test, our support services are here to assist you throughout your time as a student. Services are either offered through the University of Guelph-Humber or Humber College and are available to all of our students.
