Clubs

An IGNITE Club is a sanctioned group of active and enthusiastic students who want to engage and share their passion or hobby with students of both Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber.

Clubs must be social, cultural or interest-based. Some of the clubs include:

  • Aboriginal Students Circle
  • Beyond the Rainbow
  • Dance Company
  • Embassy Student Church
  • Fit Life Club
  • Good Deeds
  • Right To Play
  • Urban Styles Dance Club
  • Veggie Club

Toastmasters

Toastmasters International is an organization that helps members improve their communication, presentation and leadership skills. There is a chapter for Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber students to join.

Intramural and extramural teams

There are a variety of sports – from dodgeball and ultimate frisbee to volleyball and hockey – available through intramural teams or extramural teams.

Varsity sports

As a student at the University of Guelph-Humber, you are able to play varsity sports for either the University of Guelph or Humber College. You must declare which institution you want to play for before tryouts. For information on teams and tryouts, please visit gryphons.ca for the University of Guelph or humberhawks.ca for Humber.
