The Kinesiology program is excited to share an opportunity for students in Kinesiology. On Wednesday February 11 (11:45-1:15) in GH 123, we will be joined by GH KIN alumni who will be speaking about their pathway to career success.

Speakers include: current chiropractic student, recreation coordinator, resident physiotherapist, physiotherapy student, strength and conditioning, clinical coordinator, graduate studies, and nursing

This event brings together graduates who were once exactly where you are now. They will share their real-world experiences, the challenges of their career paths, and the lessons they wish they had known earlier. Whether you are considering clinical practice, research, recreation, rehabilitation, or something completely different, this is a chance to hear how others made the leap from student to professional. By attending, you will gain:

  • Clarity on career pathways: what roles exist, what they actually look like day-to-day, and how people gain entry.
  • Honest insights into the challenges, surprises, and opportunities that shaped alumni success.
  • Practical advice on courses, certifications, networking, and experiences that make a difference.
  • Connections with people who have been in your position and are eager to support the next generation of KIN students.
  • A stronger sense of direction as you plan your next steps; whether that’s grad school, professional programs, or entering the workforce.

Events like this matter because they bridge the gap between classroom learning and the realities of the field. Hearing directly from alumni can help you make informed decisions about your future. We hope to see you there and help you build the kind of professional network that lasts well beyond graduation.
