What the new building on campus means for UofGH students

Welcome to the Learning Resource Commons, or the LRC.  Now open, the building means a few changes for UofGH students:

  • Library:  The Humber North library will be closed as of June 10, 2015.  This includes access to the UofGH library collection.  It will reopen on Monday, June 15, on the 4th floor of the new LRC building.  Please note:  The UofGH library services team will remain in GH204 as normal - there will be no changes to these services.
  • Test Centre:  Previously housed at Humber, the Test Centre is now in the new LRC building.
  • Writing Centre:  The Writing Centre is no longer housed at UofGH, but rather in the new LRC building.
  • Math Centre:  The Math Centre is no longer housed at UofGH, but rather in the new LRC building.
  • Student hub:  The main floor of the LRC is a student hub, featuring a large atrium and gallery, with space to study and socialize.
