Are you ready to solve real-world challenges, strengthen your professional skills, and represent the University of Guelph-Humber on national and international stages?
The University of Guelph-Humber invites students to express interest in joining our 2026–2027 Case Competition Teams. Selected students may have the opportunity to compete in the NIBS Worldwide Case Competition: February 7–12, 2027, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Additional international case competition opportunities to be announced.
The selected team will attend an international competition in Canada (November) and then in Romania (February).
Participating in a case competition will allow you to:
- Apply your classroom knowledge to authentic organizational challenges
- Strengthen your analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Build confidence in professional presentations
- Receive coaching and feedback from faculty and industry professionals
- Expand your professional network and strengthen your résumé
- Represent U of GH nationally and internationally
What will the tryouts assess? Students may be asked to demonstrate:
- Clear and persuasive communication
- Critical thinking and strategic insight
- Creative problem-solving
- Teamwork and leadership
- Professionalism under pressure
- Commitment to performance
