Evan Tsagouris
"The SSWS program is life changing. As a neurodivergent student, it has helped me tremendously through my social anxiety. Over the years, I have gained more confidence not only as a student, but also as a person. The small class sizes allowed me to build meaningful relationships with both peers and faculty members, while creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where I could truly be myself."
Amrit Butter
"What has impacted me most about Guelph-Humber is how wholistic the learning experience is. The SSWS program at GH has taught me to look beyond a person’s circumstances and understand the relationships between their identity, environment, experiences, and wellbeing. It has shaped the way I listen, learn, and approach community work—with curiosity, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the whole person."
Grace Murray
"U of GH was the most welcoming community I’ve ever joined; I’ve watched the passion of my peers grow as we seek different paths of knowledge all supported by each other. The professors take time to build relationships with students and help turn our ideas into theories and translate those theories into practical and applicable skills I feel confident using in my future."
Madelyn Tuns
"The program is truly unique in all the best ways. Its small class sizes, intimate learning environment, and in-depth placements provided me with opportunities to flourish. It offers real life, hands-on experience at a caliber unmatched in undergraduate programs. It has made me feel prepared, both personally and professionally, to venture successfully into the field."
Alannah Williams
"This program gave me many meaningful experiences while on-campus and off-campus. Staying engaged with my community at the Indigenous Education & Engagement centre is what helped me strengthen my culture and wellness while studying. Additionally, the implemented field education provides dedicated time to work off campus with the populations I have the most passion for."

Through meaningful research opportunities, hands-on learning, and the support of faculty, I developed the confidence to pursue a Master of Public Policy and contribute to research focused on gender justice, the care economy, and equitable access to public services."
