Transcript Requests

Official transcript requests 

A transcript is an official document prepared by the Office of Registrarial Services recording a student’s courses, grades, credits transferred and degree’s awarded. Official transcripts are printed on security paper with the University of Guelph Humber seal and signature of the Registrar.

We process official transcript requests when a student:

  • makes an application to transfer to another post-secondary institution
  • applies for a graduate program, teachers college, law school, etc.
  • applies for an external scholarship that specifically requires an official transcript (documentation must be provided in these cases)

University of Guelph Humber transcript fees will cover all scenarios indicated above. Students who request that official transcripts be mailed to home addresses or be made available for student pick up can only be processed for the requests outlined above.

How to request an official transcript

Complete the Official Transcript Request form online or pick up a copy in GH108. Make sure to provide the full mailing address for the institution(s) or organization(s) as these requests will be mailed directly to the destination institution(s) or organization(s). 

Processing time: Within 7 business days.

Transcripts can be ordered in person, by mail or by fax.

Unofficial transcript requests

Any Request for Official Transcript made for 'personal' use (without specific and official documentation showing the need for an official transcript) will be directed to access their Unofficial Transcript which is available to them through WebAdvisor or re-directed to another more appropriate form, such as the Confirmation of Enrollment request form (request a different format).
