Campus/Emergency Closures

We may close due to inclement weather

In the event of severe weather conditions, the University of Guelph-Humber Vice-Provost will consult the executives at Humber College to decide if the campus should be closed.

We let you know if we close the campus

If our Vice-Provost and Humber College’s executives decide to close the campus, they notify department heads who must then inform their staff. Whenever possible, we attempt to notify students of the closure by email. We also update the automated message on our main phone line (416-798-1331) to notify callers of any closures at the school and a notification will be posted on the University of Guelph-Humber's homepage.

How you can stay up-to-date on closures

We encourage you to regularly check the University of Guelph-Humber’s homepage for up-to-date information about closures. Humber College’s website is also updated if there any closures or emergencies on campus. You can register for Humber Alert to receive notifications of critical campus information.

Media outlets are notified and will broadcast campus closure information.
