Applicants must have a minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from a regionally accredited high school to begin consideration. In addition, all students, regardless of nationality, graduating from a high school within the US must present a combined minimum (Math and Critical Reading) SAT score of 1,100 or an ACT score of 24. Where class rankings are reported on the transcript, a ranking in the top quarter is preferred. Students need to request both their school profile and unweighted grades from their school in support of their application.
Students should include, among their senior level courses, specific subjects that are required for admission to the degree program of their choice.

Advanced Placement exam results of four or more may qualify for university credit to a maximum of 2.0 credits (four courses). Official transcripts are required.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.0 from a regionally accredited high school and submit SAT 1 with a minimum of 550 in each component or a minimum ACT score of 24. Applicants may submit scores from either the current or redesigned SAT (beginning Spring 2016). SAT 1 and ACT scores will vary by degree and major. Senior level courses should include specific subjects that are required for admission to their degree program of choice. Particular attention is paid to performance in program prerequisites. Students should ensure that senior year final grades from first semester and second semester interim grades are submitted before the March 1st document deadline date. Out-of-Country Canadians in U.S. schools are evaluated for admission and scholarships using both the U.S. GPA and the SAT or ACT, not grade percentages alone.
Minimum of two Advanced Level passes and three GCSE or IGCSE (Ordinary Level) passes. Two Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level courses may be substituted for one Advanced Level course. Applicants are expected to present a minimum A/B grade to begin consideration on GCSE/IGCSE, AS and predicted Advanced Level examinations. While consideration will be given to subject prerequisites at the GCSE/ IGCSE level, students are strongly encouraged to present requirements at the AS or Advanced Level. Please note that general paper is not considered an acceptable subject. Transfer credits will be considered for Advanced Level subjects with a final grade of C or better up to a maximum of 3.0 credits (1.0 credit per course). International high school applicants: If you are applying with an IB diploma, you should present a minimum academic score of 24. Reported bonus points will be taken into consideration. You should complete the diploma with six subjects: three higher level and three standard level. You should also include the specific subject requirement for the program to which you are applying among your higher and standard levels. Please note that Math Studies is an acceptable prerequisite for programs that require math. You should ensure that your predicted scores are submitted using the seven-point scale.
All IB applicants: Once we have received your official final IB transcript we will assign transfer credit. You are eligible to receive a maximum of 2.0 credits for grades of 5 or better on higher level courses where you have been awarded the IB Diploma or Certificate.

Students applying with a French Baccalaureate should present a minimum overall score of 12 out of 20. Specific subject prerequisites should be completed at the highest co-efficient level.
Students are required to submit both their high school transcripts and their Chinese National University Entrance Examination (NCEE) or an acceptable equivalent such as SAT/SAT II results.

Chinese National University Entrance Examinations (Gaokao)
For students enrolled in high schools following China’s national curriculum, we do require you to complete the GaoKao, the Chinese National University Entrance Examinations (NCEE). Students attending a provincial curriculum high school must complete the equivalent test. Your Gaokao must be verified and sent through the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Center (CDGDC). You can visit their website at http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn. A request for accreditation of Gaokao scores or post-secondary degrees and diplomas can be sent through the Center. The Center will then issue a hardcopy credentials report for you to send to Admissions.
SAT I and SAT II Subject Tests
In the absence of completing the Gaokao, SAT Critical Reading and Math with a combined minimum of 1100 and SAT II Subject tests with an approximate minimum of 550 per subject may be submitted for admission consideration. The specific SAT II Subject Tests required depend upon the intended field of study:
- Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology: Math (level 2), Biology (either E or M) and Chemistry
- Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts: Literature, and two additional humanities or social science type courses (e.g. World History, French, etc.)
- Honours Bachelor of Business Administraiton: Math (level 2) plus two additional SAT's.
