First Year Experience (FYE) Program

Make the most out of your first year at the University of Guelph-Humber!

All new first-year students starting in the Fall 2016 semester will be assigned into a First Year Experience group. Each group will have an upper-year student facilitator called a First Year Experience (FYE) Leader, who is also in the same academic program. They know what it’s like to be a student on campus, so they can help you navigate this new environment, answer your questions, and connect you to your peers. Your FYE Leader will contact you via GryphMail in June to invite you to join your online Facebook group! Your FYE Leader will offer support and guidance to you during your entire first year at UofGH.

Email if you have any questions about First Year Experience.

Winter 2016 FYE Workshops

Throughout the Winter semester, we offer First Year Experience workshops designed just for first-year students! These one-hour workshops are hosted by professional staff or student leaders, with assistance from your FYE Leaders, and are designed to help with your transition into university. Attend each workshop to help achieve success in your first year at UofGH!

Workshops are only open to first-year students. They are offered first-come first-serve, so be sure to register in advance to save your spot.

Workshops take place from 12:30-1:30 pm. Click the links below to register!
