First Year Experience (FYE) Program
Make the most out of your first year at the University of Guelph-Humber!
All new first-year and transfer students starting in the Fall 2017 semester will be added to a First Year Experience group. Each group will have an upper-year student facilitator called a First Year Experience (FYE) Leader, who is also in the same academic program. They know what it’s like to be a student on campus, so they can help you navigate this new environment, answer your questions, and connect you to your peers. Your FYE Leader will contact you via GryphMail in June to invite you to join your online Facebook group! Your FYE Leader will offer support and guidance to you during your entire first year at UofGH.
Email email@example.com if you have any questions about First Year Experience.
Throughout the Fall and Winter semester, we offer First Year Experience workshops designed just for first-year students! These one-hour workshops are hosted by professional staff or student leaders, with assistance from your FYE Leaders, and are designed to help with your transition into university. Attend each workshop to help achieve success in your first year at UofGH!
A list of Fall 2017 workshops will be posted here in summer 2017. Check back in July!
