Psi Chi (International Honour Society in Psychology)

The UofGH Psi Chi chapter was established to recognize academic excellence in psychology, and foster an academic relationship between students, their professors, and other professionals in the field. It provides students with the opportunity to expand their professional and academic networks by giving them the resources to discuss news, research, challenges, and other current topics in psychology with professionals. Guelph-Humber Psi Chi (International Honour Society in Psychology) Society was established at the University of Guelph-Humber in 2016.

Events & Activities

An international honour society that provides an opportunity to expand students’ professional and academic networks by giving them the resources to discuss current topics in psychology with professionals. Past events Psi Chi organized includes de-stressing activities around exams, and Criminal Minds where a guest speaker discusses criminal behaviour from a psychological lens.

2023-2024 Membership Requirements

Membership is open to all current students at UofGH with a major in Psychology who meet the academic grade requirements. Students must be inducted as official members of Psi Chi to become the Vice President of Psi Chi.
