Join Humber Polytechnic in the Moose Hide Campaign
Humber Polytechnic is proud to participate as a host school in the Moose Hide Campaign, a national movement to end gender-based violence and support safer communities.
Join us for a flag raising on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the North Campus flagpole. All are welcome.
In the lead-up to the campaign, we invite offices, staff, and students to wear and share the Moose Hide pin—a symbol of hope and solidarity, worn as a commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life. Pin packages are available through Indigenous Education and Engagement for distribution across campus until May 14.
Moose Hide Campaign Day takes place on May 14 in downtown Toronto. Learn more and find event details at: https://moosehidecampaign.ca.
Participation in the campaign supports reconciliation and aligns with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action, UNDRIP, and the Calls for Justice from the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Inquiry.
For more information or to pick up your pins, please stop by the Indigenous Student Centre (LRC 2137) or email Aaron Sykes at aaron.sykes@humber.ca.
