Psych Society

Psych Society offers a variety of academic, professional, and community-building programming throughout the year. This includes the weekly Speaker Series, featuring presentations from Guelph-Humber staff, alumni, external organizations, and guest speakers in psychology and related fields. Psych Society also hosts events focused on networking, skill development, student recognition, and collaboration with other Guelph-Humber societies. Together, these offerings help students connect, explore career pathways, and become more involved in the psychology community at Guelph-Humber.

If you're interested in being an executive member, monitor the Student Life eNews and GHworks in January and September of each year for open positions.

Psych Society General Members participate in at least six Psych Society programming offerings throughout the academic year (September to April). Eligible programming includes Speaker Series sessions and Psych Society events. Students who meet membership requirements are recognized as General Members and may add this experience to their Co-Curricular Record (CCR).
