International Student Entrance Scholarship

Eligibility

Full-time international students who are entering or transferring into a University of Guelph-Humber degree program will automatically be considered based on their final admission average.  Grades will be converted to the Canadian equivalent to determine your final admission average, if applicable.  Students must have a minimum 75.0% final admission average to receive an award.

Awards range from $2,000 to $8,500 based on your final admissions average.

Depending on when you are admitted, you must register in a minimum number of credits per semester to receive the International Student Entrance Scholarship.

September         At least 2.0 credits for fall and winter semesters

May                       At least 2.0 credits for summer and fall semesters

The International Student Entrance Scholarship is not available to re-admitted students, internal applicants from the University of Guelph, non-degree students, and exchange students. This scholarship is not renewable.

Receiving your scholarship

We will automatically credit your scholarship to your University account. The scholarship amount will be divided into two equal payments.  You must be registered as a full-time student in both semesters in order to receive and retain the scholarship.
