Earn 2 credentials
- Honours Bachelor of Business Administration
- Diploma in Business Administration
Your degree is granted by the University of Guelph and diploma by Humber Polytechnic. You must complete all four years of study to receive both credentials.

Specializations
Start with the fundamentals of business and then focus your studies through one of seven specializations:
Accounting
Complete the courses you need to pursue your CPA when you graduate.
This specialization includes courses in managerial accounting, taxation and auditing.
Finance
Learn about banking, insurance, capital projects, investing and portfolio management.
This specialization includes courses in investment finance, personal financial planning and real estate finance.
Human Resources
Learn how human resources (HR) helps organizations achieve their goals by building and keeping a productive workforce.
This specialization includes courses in talent acquisition, employee compensation and benefits, training and development, and labour relations.
International Business
Focus on conducting business within the global economy.
This specialization includes courses in international trade and law, and the business practices of the Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America regions.
Management
Learn about the management of large and small businesses, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
This specialization includes courses in business consulting, business and government, business analytics and event management.
Marketing
Explore how product, price, promotion, and distribution frameworks are used to satisfy consumer needs and achieve organizational objectives.
This specialization includes courses in professional selling, e-commerce and social media marketing.
Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship
Explore crucial strategies for initiating and maintaining a successful small business in today’s marketplace.
This specialization includes courses in business consulting, event management, planning a small business and entrepreneurial finance.
Choose not to specialize to have your degree cover a broader range of business perspectives.
Complete your degree requirement for work experience in a field placement OR co-op.
Placement
Choose placement to complete 100 to 520 hours of hours-on work experience and graduate in four years. Placement is integrated into your semesters of coursework.

Co-op
Apply to co-op in your first year. Co-op and in-course semesters are separate because work teams are paid full-time hours. Graduate in five years of study. The first work term will take place in the summer of second year, or in third year for accounting students.

Hands-on education
You'll get real-world experience through your business courses, including Event Planning I & II and Business Analytics, for a total of 664 hours of hands-on learning.
