North Campus Parking Lot 3 and Garage – Parking Permits

As a result of the opening of the visitor parking garage in September 2018, the Security Control booths that control vehicle access to permit only lots along Arboretum road will be removed. (“A” Lane and ‘E” Lane). In turn, the entrance/exit to Guelph Humber permit parking lot 3 will be redesigned and gated parking controls with card reader access will be installed as of August 31st. (Date is tentative).

What this means for Guelph Humber student parking permit holders:

  • Lot 3 will be for Guelph Humber Student commuter permit holder card access parking only – no daily/visitor parking will be available in Lot 3.
  • If you find that Lot 3 is full, the new above ground garage will act as Guelph Humber overflow parking. Due to high demand, we have sold more permits than available spaces in Lot 3.
  • Lot 1 will be the assigned lot for Guelph Humber Student Residence parking.
  • The enclosed parking access card has been activated for all entrances and exits to Lot 3 & the garage if you are a commuter, and Lot 1 if you are in residence. If you lose this card, there is a $25.00 replacement fee.
  • Please continue to display your parking permit hang tag (validity information facing outwards) on your rear view mirror as we transition to this new parking control system.
