Earn 2 credentials
- Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology
- Diploma in General Arts & Science
Your degrees is granted by the University of Guelph and diploma by Humber Polytechnic. You must complete all required courses to receive the credentials.

Examine:
- Theories and research exploring human thought, feeling and behaviour
- Processes and factors that shape who we become through the study of cognition, emotion and mental health
- Technology's application in psychology, e.g., electroencephalography (EEG - refer to photo) and galvanic skin response (GSR) readers

Specializations
You may choose to specialize in one of three areas:
Psychology of Business
- Examine the relation between psychology and industry, organizations or corporations
- Courses: Leadership & Motivation; Marketing; Advertising in Business; Psychology of Group Dynamics; Organizational Psychology
Psychological Data Analytics
- Focus on quantitative and qualitative research methods and practice in psychology
- Courses: Quantification in Psychology II; Case Studies & Qualitative Methods; Research Communication & Proposal Writing
Sports Psychology
- Study the connection between psychology and physical activity and performance
- Courses: Psychology of Exercise; Psychology of Group Dynamics; Health Psychology
If you have any postsecondary education and you wish to apply to the University of Guelph-Humber, then you are a Transfer Applicant. Our college block credit transfer pathways and general transfer pathways demonstrate the transfer credit available to you.
College block credit transfer pathways
Our college block credit transfer pathways allow you to move seamlessly with your college diploma into our honours program. If you are in your final year of diploma completion, or have a completed diploma, in one of the following recognized Ontario college diplomas (or equivalent), with a minimum cumulative average of low to mid-70s, you are eligible to receive up to 5.0 transfer credits (equivalent to approximately one year of study).

General transfer pathways
If you have postsecondary education and are not eligible for a college block credit transfer pathway, we will evaluate your transfer credit based on your education history once you apply.
Coming from a diploma program: If you have completed coursework or a diploma from a college diploma program, you must have a minimum cumulative average of low to mid-70s to be considered for admission.
Coming from a degree program: If you have completed a degree or degree-related coursework from a recognized college or university program, you must have a minimum cumulative average of 65% to be considered for admission.

Research
Get a solid start in research, which can be an advantage in graduate school.
Our thesis courses give you the opportunity to complete undergraduate research with a ton of staff to show you the ropes. Plus, you can present your findings at the Annual U of GH Psychology Conference.

Networking
Participate in Common Time: weekly workshops, notable guest speakers and special events that bring together fellow classmates and faculty in an academic and social atmosphere.
Many activities are run by our student-led societies and Canadian Psychological Association reps.

Make an impact
Become a student affiliate of the Canadian Psychological Association — the national body representing the discipline of Psychology in Canada — and work alongside the Chair to shape the future of psychology and psychological sciences.

Science Rendezvous
This free, interactive, annual event takes place across Canada. Get involved in various Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities with children, youth and adults. Showcase your creative and innovative mind while encouraging the curiosity of others. Engage community members in partnership with University of Guelph-Humber faculty, community partners and peers across all programs, and enhance your resumé.
