Dr. Gary Ellis, head of Justice Studies at UofGH, did interviews with 15 morning shows on CBC Radio on July 26 about gun possession rules and regulations. Dr. Ellis discussed some of the reasons people, from collectors to trappers, buy handguns legally and illegally with almost half of the illegal handguns being smuggled from the United States.
