Employees hired by Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning

After completing the recruitment and on-boarding process in the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) follow these important steps:

  • Contact the Administrative Assistant, Finance & Administration to advise of the new hire for administrative and budgeting purposes
  • Request Banner Access
  • Request Lenel Access
  • To request an office key, contact a member of the Finance & Administration team
  • Prepare the new employee’s designated work area
  • Advise Academic & Campus Technology Services of any electronic equipment required (4-6 weeks advance notice if possible)
  • Send an announcement email to the Information Officer to distribute to all staff
  • Introduce the new employee to key staff members and provide a tour of University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College campuses.
  • It is strongly recommended the employee register for Humber Alert to receive notifications about critical campus information.
  • Parking permits may be purchased through Humber’s Capital Development & Facilities Management department.

Employees hired by University of Guelph

The hiring Manager is to reach out to the appointed contact at the University of Guelph’s Human Resources department (currently Robert Sinclair) for guidance on the process and forms to be completed.

Once the hiring process at University of Guelph is complete, follow these important steps to on-board your new employee:

  • On-board new staff
  • Provide emergency contact info
  • Request Banner Access
  • Request Lenel Access
  • To request an office key, contact a member of the Finance and Administration team
  • Prepare the new employee’s designated work area
  • Advise Academic & Campus Technology Services of any electronic equipment required (4-6 weeks advance notice if possible)
  • Send an announcement email to the Information Officer to distribute to all staff

  • University of Guelph-Humber has a reciprocal parking arrangement with the University of Guelph. Parking permits may be purchased through the University of Guelph’s Parking Services & Transportation Planning department. Full time employee parking permits are valid in University of Guelph-Humber parking lot 3.
