As a University of Guelph-Humber student, you are able to apply for executive and program representative positions on IGNITE; the campus student government. You can also apply to be on the University of Guelph’s Senate.
IGNITE is a student-run organization that takes care of all Guelph-Humber and Humber students. We’re here to amplify your voice and stand up for empowerment, advocacy, discovery, and openness. We want to give you the power to shape your world and your experience in university and college.
So, what exactly does IGNITE do?
We organize events like Frosh, Halloween parties, and galas; take care of important services like health insurance and financial assistance, plus tons more – like clubs, volunteering, student elections, and part-time jobs.

University of Guelph Senate
The University of Guelph Senate is responsible for academic programs, regulations and policies related to the University of Guelph and the University of Guelph-Humber. Both staff and students hold active roles for the Senate. There are four elected positions for University of Guelph-Humber students. Learn more about the University of Guelph Senate.
The following individuals have been elected to represent students in University of Guelph-Humber programs on the University of Guelph Senate, for a one-year term beginning September 1, 2016:
