What is Fair Dealing?

Licensed Content
Licensed content includes electronic journals, eBooks, streaming media and other online works subscribed to or purchased under a license agreement.
The library's licensed electronic resources are subject to license terms which may prohibit some uses that would otherwise be permitted under fair dealing or other exceptions in the Copyright Act. To ensure your particular use is permitted, check a resource’s license terms before copying and distributing content.
