Morocco & France: The Culture of Moroccan North Africa & France

In this study abroad course, students will travel to Paris, France as well as the North African nation of Morocco to compare and contrast their histories, cultures, and customs. There will be visits to the Sahara desert, where students can enjoy the natural beauty of the dunes while riding on a camel. Students will partake in traditional meals with local residents, explore high-walled kasbahs, and wander the labyrinthine alleys of Morocco’s world heritage sites. While in Paris, students will visit the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame and the Sacré-Cœur.
