Welcome to the 2021-22 academic year at the University of Guelph-Humber!

Welcome to the 2021-22 academic year at the University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH). For all new and returning students, instructors and staff we know it’s been a challenging 18 months and we thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we navigate this journey together. Despite our challenges, we are excited to be transitioning back to campus while offering a blend of face-to-face and virtual classes, programming and services this semester.

Whether you are returning to campus for in-person learning, conducting your studies fully online, or a mix of the two, we are delighted to be part of this journey and to support your learning and success along the way.

Over the next two weeks our Return to Campus Working Group is offering UofGH students welcome back programming. Various activities will be available to help students transition to in-person learning with the support of the entire UofGH community. Programming will include activities and games with more information regarding on-campus resources. As well, staff and student leaders will be on site to answer questions and help students navigate campus. Drop by the UofGH North atrium September 8-21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For questions or more information, please email

As you can see, this fall at UofGH we plan to offer increased access to in-person services and on-campus interactions and activities, while continuing to focus on the health and safety of our UofGH community. If you are coming to campus I strongly encourage you to visit our Return to Campus and Student Services webpages for more information about the Guardian Daily Self-Assessment requirement, our vaccination policy and services available to you.

Overall, I want to thank each and every one of you all for your continued efforts during these difficult times. UofGH continues to grow and thrive because of the quality and dedication of our instructors, staff, students and alumni. Thank you for choosing the University of Guelph-Humber. I wish you much academic success in the year to come.
