Fall Graduation

The University of Guelph-Humber only holds Convocation ceremonies in June each year.

Students who complete their program requirements in the Summer semester are invited to participate in Fall Graduation. This is a no-ceremony graduation. Graduates will receive their parchments in the mail to the address indicated on their student record.

Can Fall Graduates attend the June ceremony?

Yes; if you graduated in the Fall, you will be invited to join our Spring 2021 virtual convocation celebration.

The University of Guelph-Humber continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and your well-being and the safety of students, families and our campus community remains our top priority. After careful consideration, the University has made the difficult decision to postpone in-person Spring 2021 convocation ceremonies until it is safe to do so. Once we can safely gather for convocation ceremonies again, graduates who have not had the chance to participate in an in-person event will be invited to attend.

In the meantime, we are working to create a memorable virtual convocation celebration to honour our newest graduates. This celebration will allow us to mark the accomplishments of both our Fall 2020 and our Spring 2021 graduates. To mark your convocation, you will receive a package with your degree and diploma parchments, mortarboard and other keepsake/commemorative items closer to the virtual celebration.

Our Spring 2021 virtual convocation celebration has been set for Tuesday, June 29, 2021. A link to Ceremonies will be shared with all graduates to view Spring 2021 virtual convocation celebrations, closer to the date along with additional graduation details. Please email if you have questions
