Received an offer of admission from UofGH? Find out what’s next

Congratulations on receiving your offer of admission from the University of Guelph-Humber! Even though it’s early, you’re probably wondering: what’s next?

Even in the spring, there are steps you can take to prepare for the fall at UofGH. If you’ve received your offer of admission, these are the first things you can do:

  1. Accept Your Offer

This one’s easy. Visit the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre by the date outlined in your offer to make it official and say yes to UofGH!

  1. Apply for Residence

Our residence facilities are located just a two-minute walk from the university. Learn how to apply here.

  1. Check out our New Student Guide

Our New Student Guide has all the information you need to hit the ground running at the University of Guelph-Humber.

  1. Attend our Next Steps event

Any questions you might have about life at the University of Guelph-Humber can be answered at one of two Next Steps events on May 18 and May 25. Staff from the Student Services department will be here to help whether you’re curious about choosing courses, managing your finances, or applying for scholarships.

  1. Take a campus tour

If you can’t make it to Next Steps, we’d still love to see you. Why not book a tour of the University of Guelph-Humber’s campus in Toronto? Tours run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. from May to August.

  1. Apply for OSAP

Learn more about OSAP and if you haven’t done so already, you can apply online.

  1. Set Up Your Gryph Mail and Keep an Eye on WebAdvisor

If you’re coming from high-school, your Gryph Mail login information will be emailed to you, while transfer and mature applicants should already have their login information. We will communicate all important information to you by email, so be sure to check your account regularly. Also, keep track of when course selection begins and WebAdvisor opens.

  1. Look out for Kick Start

This one-day program can be a big help in the transition from high-school to the university environment. You can explore the campus, meet other new students and ask any questions you might have about what to expect from life at UofGH.
