Tuition & Fees

The University of Guelph-Humber operates on a semester billing system. This means students pay tuition and other fees at the beginning of each semester, rather than in one lump sum.

Making Payments

Students are notified of payment deadlines via their University of Guelph-Humber email address (@guelphhumber.ca) and on our website. Paper invoices are not issued. Students use WebAdvisor to view their account summary and pay fees by credit card.

Scholarships & Bursaries

The University of Guelph-Humber offers scholarships and bursaries for students who are entering their first year and for our upper-year students. Scholarships may recognize academic merit, leadership and citizenship, or financial need. You can read about our various scholarships and bursaries.

OSAP

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSA) offers loans, grants, bursaries and scholarships through the federal and provincial governments to help students finance their education. We encourage our students to apply early and recommend that they apply by June 15 or as soon as they have accepted an offer of admission. Residence & Housing

The cost of living on campus varies depending on the style of room and meal plan that have been chosen. For 2017-2018 the cost will be between $8,603 and $11,252. Students can also choose to live off-campus. If you need assistance finding off-campus accommodation, search listings and get helpful tips at the Humber Off-Campus Housing website.

Books

The University of Guelph-Humber estimates the cost of books to be approximately $1,000 per year. Students can buy new or used textbooks at the campus bookstore or directly from other students. The bookstore also rents textbooks which may be a way to reduce this cost.

Work-Study Program

The Work-Study Program offers students the opportunity to work on campus while going to school. Students have the chance to contribute to the Guelph-Humber community, make contacts, gain valuable work experience and know their school schedule will be accommodated

RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan)

Each RESP is administered differently. Some RESPs require that a Confirmation of Enrolment form be completed before funds can be withdrawn. These forms can be accessed at GH108 once a student has registered for courses.

Tax Receipts

Students can access, print, or save a digital copy of their T2202A tax form through the Financial Profile section of WebAdvisor. The University does not issue paper copies of this form.
